Our Vision

The HVC Parking Project addresses three critical needs in our community - parking, senior housing and an enhanced playground. The City of San Francisco approved construction of our very own 38-space parking structure with attached five units of senior housing.

Not only will this project help us meet our community’s critical needs, but it will be a source of income to help sustain our community – now and for future generations. This project will also create a new playground used by our schools; a raised playground will provide more sunshine and square footage.

A Two-Story Parking Structure

The two-story parking structure will create 38 parking spaces made available to The Holy Virgin Community. The underground parking will be available whenever the Church is open. The surface parking lot will be used as a play area for the existing K-12 school during school hours.

The construction of the parking project is currently slated to commence early 2022. Completion of the project is approximately 1 year from start date.

A Five-Unit Senior Housing Complex

Five apartment units will be built for our senior community members. This will include one - 1 bedroom unit,  three – 2 bedroom units, and one senior additional dwelling (ADU) unit.  The construction of the senior housing is currently slated to commence early 2023, after the Parking lot is completed. Completion of the project is approximately 1 year from start date.

An Enhanced Playground For Our Schools

In addition to the parking lot and senior housing, this project will also improve the playground used by St John’s Academy and St Cyril and Methodius Russian School. A raised playground will provide more sunshine and give it a larger square footage.
